Overpriced for poor quality
I had to do a return the 1st time as received an item that did not work, wouldn’t lite up. I was sent a replacement that looked like it was a return as balls were opened and missing 1 bulb. It warms up ok,but overpriced for overall quality. Thickness is ok. I wouldn’t give this as a gift.too many problems.

This set did not get as warm as I was expecting it to. We left it on for an entire 24 hour period and the balls were barely warm. This would have made a great decoration, but not for massage like listed. They do not get warm enough to use for massage.

Gives off nice warm glow
This is a nice salt rock lamp. It gives off good light. I just unpacked it, turned it on, took a shower and checked the warmth of the rocks. So far the stones haven’t gotten warm yet. I put a 12 ounce can of soda next to it for height reference.

This is very attractive. The light works well. The dimmer switch works well. After a few days of using this light my chronic cough went away. I bought another Himalayan sea salt light for my parents who also noticed an improvement in chronic coughing.

Ball cracked quickly
I really like this, but I’ve only had it out of the box for about 2-3 weeks and a ball broke. They have not been used for massage and have barely been handled at all. I’m not sure if it got too hot from the light, but it’s disappointing.

Amazing lamp and exceptional customer service
Perfect size, brightness, variation in color and warmth! I am currently in acupuncture clinic and hope to run my own business in the next few years. I got this to practice using the balls to relieve aches. I bought from Spantik because the last salt lamp I purchased was the bowl with rocks (love the ambiance it creates) and that one was so awesome. The lamps also comes with an extra light bulb. Just to get this out of the way, I think the Spantik Himalayan Fire Bowl Salt Lamp with 6 Massage Balls is pretty nice. It arrived intact, which is a plus. The lamp bowl is a single piece, with a spring clip light assembly that slides into the center channel. The cord isn’t overly long. The rotary dimmer is easy to handle and works properly.
So, the concept behind this lamp is that it uses an old incandescent bulb. Essentially it’s the same idea as an Easy Bake Oven, in that the light bulb acts as the heat source. Knowing that, you can replace the lightbulb with an LED unit if you ONLY intend the use the lamp as a light source, and not as a heating base for the massage balls.
I wanted to use the massage balls so I turned on the lamp and a couple hours later they were barely warm! The problem that day was that the ceiling on was on its fastest setting, and it was circulating enough cold room air that the balls weren’t retaining any heat. The next day I tried again, with the ceiling fan off. Hmm… not very hot. At this point I was pretty disappointed. My engineer brain figured that I just needed a heat reflector, so I got a piece of aluminum foil and put them over the balls. Perfect!
Obviously the foil doesn’t go with the aesthetic of the lamp, but it does cut the heating time dramatically, and it ups the heat a lot. That’s important because the thermal mass of the salt balls isn’t particularly high.
For $27 (and a bit of aluminum foil), I’m pretty happy with the salt lamp overall. Recommended

Would NOT recommend product
Only had product for a few months as of 10/15/21. It started leaking some sort of liquid substance from the base of the product bowl, this lamp bowl does not or is not suppose to have any liquid in or around it, yet out of nowhere, it started oozing some substance from the base of the lamp bowl. once i noticed a bit of a puddle around the lamp bowl, I picked the Himalayan lamp bowl up and noticed the liquid substance, coming out of the base of the Himalayan lamp bowl, would not recommend this product, I have no idea what the substance oozing out of the base is, and do NOT feel comfortable with the seller sending a replacement. I will be asking for a full refund, will keep updating the status of that as request for full return proceeds as of 10/15/21
